The customer's goal was to optimize their equipment and protect their circuits from damage caused by overcurrent or short circuits. The older systems posed a safety hazard and increased the risk of fire. Importantly, the customer sought products that met the new 2020 UL standards and looked for ways to improve their financial and safety outcomes. They needed a product designed for either overhead or underground installation that was lightweight and easy to install.
RONK's team operated as an extension of the company when called in for advice. As a solution, RONK's team suggested reliable products that meet safety standards and align with industry-wide best practices. The team proposed installing the UL-listed MSB (Meter Socket Breaker) product line to prevent overcurrent events. This product meets NEC code section 230.62 and conforms to 230.85.

RONK’s 200-amp Meter Socket Circuit Breaker combo (MSB) units are designed for overhead or underground installation. With lightweight and easy installation, these units are suitable for use as service equipment (SUSE), with a NEMA 3R aluminum enclosure.
