Designed specifically for low-speed, high-slip motors, the ECONO-PHASE Shifter allows oil field operators to utilize readily available single phase power instead of incurring the high costs of extending three phase service. Built with heavy-duty components to withstand surging loads and continuous operation, the ECONO-PHASE Shifter is engineered to meet the demanding requirements of oil field environments. Its capacitor-based design ensures stable performance and longevity. Additionally, special capacitors are incorporated to manage high peak voltages, which can occur when the motor runs at overspeed during the downstroke.
The ECONO-PHASE Shifter is available in 2PS-OF(240V) or 4PS-OF(480V) configurations and comes housed in a durable NEMA 3R aluminum enclosure for outdoor mounting. Available in sizes ranging from 3 HP to 75 HP, adjustable down to ¾ HP, it provides an efficient and dependable alternative to costly three phase infrastructure upgrades.
